Speaking on Monday after receiving the credentials of the new Belgian ambassador, Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi referred to the history of friendly relations between the two countries, adding, “Iran is interested in expanding cooperation with Belgium and Europe in the economic and trade fields”.
In the same meeting, the new Belgian ambassador to Tehran said, “We hope that with the expansion of economic relations, the relations between Tehran and Brussels will be further strengthened”.
